THE TASK
How can we create a creative launch strategy empower underrepresented artists and foster global recognition of their work within the digital realm?
MY ROLE
As lead designer, I orchestrated the development of a comprehensive launch strategy for GBAHM (Gallery of Black Art and Historical Migration), a visionary brand dedicated to empowering Black artists. Leveraging my expertise in market research and demographic analysis, I guided the team in understanding the unique needs and aspirations of the artists, ensuring that every aspect of GBAHM's identity resonated deeply with this vibrant community. Additionally, I spearheaded the conceptualization and execution of an innovative gamified museum experience, designed to immerse users in virtual worlds inspired by the exceptional talents of Black artists. Moreover, I prioritized GBAHM's mission of social consciousness by integrating a pop-up shop model where every purchase contributes directly to the communities represented by these artists, fostering positive social change. Through my strategic leadership, GBAHM emerged as a powerful catalyst for the global celebration of Black creativity and social impact, poised to make a meaningful difference for artists worldwide.

These elements—a captivating launch video ad, a distinctive logo, and an engaging landing page—comprise an efficient MVP for a brand's launch and fundraising efforts. The video ignites curiosity, the logo instills trust, and the landing page, created using a CMS web builder, introduces the brand and its fundraising initiatives. This MVP jumpstarts the brand's presence and attracts initial funding, laying the groundwork for future growth and impact.
